I'm often asked why I want to be an MP - and the answer, is that it is the only job in the world where you get to help people on an individual basis, whilst also changing the law to make your community, and country, a better place to be.

I've lived one road away from Mount Vernon Hospital all my life and it has been my family's local hospital for over 35 years.
