It's always great campaigning in the ward you grew up - although it does take twice as long as any other ward when you knock on the doors of your family friends and neighbours!
I’m a big fan of the Centre for Policy Studies so I was thrilled to be asked to join a panel at Conservative Party Conference entitled “Doomed by Demographics”.
As Director of Strategy and Education at UK Anti-Doping, I had the privilege of hosting a three day conference at Wilton Park, with politicians, specialists, and academics from around the world. I had the pleasure of interviewing Sir Hugh, who was the keynote speaker.
I had a great day at the Tory Reform Group conference last weekend. I was asked to speak on a panel about “Policy for Modern Britain” with fab panellists: Dolly Theis - public health expert, Dan Skelton - author, Rob Wilson - former Minister and Steph Reeves - head of TRG Policy.
Thank you so much to the Big Tent Ideas Festival for a thought-provoking day of debate across the political spectrum. It was a pleasure to speak with impressive panellists Nimco Ali, Andrew Copson, Shabnam Nasimi - chaired by equally impressive Nora Mulready.
It was a pleasure to attend The Ditchley Foundation's Festival of Ideas.
The The Ditchley Foundation was established in 1958 to promote international collaboration and Anglo-American relations. I’ve been involved with Ditchley since last year, as part of a working group.
I’ve been coaching public speaking and interview techniques for the past 6 years, with some of my trainees including 30+ elected MPs, Ministers and members of the Cabinet.
