I've been volunteering at a vaccine centre for the last few months to do my teeny tiny little bit to support our amazing NHS and all the incredibly hard-working people involved in the vaccine rollout.
As a volunteer, I interact (with masks on!) with around 500 people I day, so I was vaccinated to protect the people in the centre and reduce the risk of transmission.
If you have doubts about the vaccine, please do go ahead and get it! The risk of a fatal blood clot is far far lower than from taking a flight, taking the contraceptive pill - or indeed, from getting Covid. Protect yourself, your loved ones, and the NHS.
If you've got any questions or concerns, please do speak to your Doctor. My first dose made me feel a bit nauseous and very tired, but I was fine after 1.5 days and it was much less bad than the virus would have been!
