This morning, I had the honour of speaking in a historic debate in the House of Lords organised by Lord and Lady Popat, to mark International Women's Day. It was the first time non-Parliamentarians were able to speak in a debate in a chamber in the House Of Lords.
It was an immense privilege to be able to speak, and to be able to listen to the inspirational women around me. Each of these women are changing the world in their own way, breaking glass ceilings, and fighting for equality.
I ended my speech by quoting the inspirational Malala Youzafzai
“We cannot all succeed when half of us are held back”
