Experience across policy and communication
I am Global Head of Policy at the Open Data Institute and Deputy Chair of the Social Mobility Commission. Previously, I led policy across Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Wise and was vice-president of the European FinTech Association.
Alongside my policy work, I coach individuals and teams, chair panels and speak at conferences. I have trained MPs, candidates and a number of current and past Ministers, and provided training for corporate teams including TikTok, Pfizer and Citibank.
My Coaching Experience
2013 TO PRESENT - TRAINING FOR PROFESSIONALS
Worked with clients including TikTok, Citibank, Bloomberg, Pfizer and Aetna to provide 1:1 and team coaching, to deliver keynote speeches and to moderate global conferences
Trained over 14,000 people (from the private, public and third sectors), largely through large group sessions, on public speaking, interview techniques and building the confidence to be more effective communicators in their professional and personal lives
TRAINING STUDENTS - A CURRENT OPTION
Supporting >1,000 students and teaching staff, including at the University of Cambridge, the University of Reading, the University of Sunderland in London, York St John University, Glasgow Caledonian University, Loughborough University, Staffordshire University, the University of the West of Scotland and Northumbria University, with public speaking and interview technique training to support with job interviews, Oxbridge interviews and interviews for medical and dental school
Extensive experience delivering personal statement and interview training for UK Russell Group universities, including Oxford and Cambridge, and I designed training materials for Oxbridge applications. Training students is a current option - get in touch to discuss.
2019 - COACHING MPS AND POLITICIANS
Flown out to the Republic of North Macedonia (RONM) by the Westminster Foundation for Democracy to coach female politicians and MPs from RONM, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Kosovo and El Salvador in public speaking, interview technique and media performance
2018 - SPOKE IN THE HOUSE OF LORDS
Spoke in the House of Lords chamber for International Women’s Day in 2018.
