My Week 12/1/2015

Resham KotechaNews from Resham Kotecha
Prospective Parliamentary Candidate, Dulwich & West Norwood

With just 114 days until the General Election, our campaign is in full swing. It is vital that we make the most of our time to knock on doors and engage with voters to collect voting intentions and to explain to people why I and the Conservative party would serve them better than Labour.

I was grateful to the activists who were out with me on the campaign trail around Croxted Road over the weekend - especially given the rain! We knocked on a lot of doors and had 8 activists out to campaign and deliver.

London Bridge Campaign

I have been contacted by commuters using the train into London Bridge about the poor service they have had over the last two months - despite increasing rail fares. I am running a campaign to get meaningful compensation for people. If you have not done so already, please sign at

I have contacted Claire Perry MP, Minister for transport and will also be speaking to Network Rail and Southern Rail regarding this matter.

Fundraiser with The Rt. Hon. Nicky Morgan MP - Secretary of State for Education

I am pleased that The Rt. Hon. Nicky Morgan MP has agreed to come to Dulwich and speak to guests on Monday 2nd February. This is a really exciting opportunity to hear from the Education secretary in this important election year. Please contact 02086700677 for tickets.

Future Campaign days

As always, I would love to see as many candidates as possible. We will be out tomorrow to meet commuters at North Dulwich station from 6.45 in the evening and to collect signatures for the petition.
On Saturday, we will be in Croydon Central to support Gavin Barwell MP and help him to retain his seat - vital if we want a Conservative Government after the election. If you would like to join us, we would love to have you along!

If there is anything I can do to help you, or if there are any issues you want to raise please do not hesitate to contact me.

Best Wishes,
Resham Kotecha
